Cherelle Mead Psychotherapy - Advocacy & Leadership

Advocacy & Leadership

I am honoured to serve as a charity trustee and as the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) Representative for Wales. In this capacity, I advocate for the needs of counselling professionals and trainees, striving to enhance anti-oppressive practices within our field.

Cherelle Mead Psychotherapy - Writing, Speaking & Training services

Writing, Speaking & Training

I am passionate about my role as a writer, speaker and trainer in the mental health field. I deliver training sessions on critical topics such as trauma, neurodivergence and identity, with a focus on fostering inclusive, compassionate and practical learning environments.

Cherelle Mead Psychotherapy - Supervision services

Supervision

As a qualified counselling supervisor, I am dedicated to supporting both new and experienced therapists in feeling seen, resourced and confident in their practice.  I create a safe space for reflection, challenge and professional growth, while also encouraging an open dialogue about power dynamics within the therapy room, including considerations of race and class.

Words From My Clients

“Elle made connections in 1 session that hadn't been made in years of previous therapists. She has helped me understand my identity and the therapy has changed my life in many ways including my health. She helped me to heal and that means the world. I recommend her to everyone.”

“I'd lost faith in therapists a long time ago but Elle has completely restored my faith. I would thoroughly recommend her - she's helped me so much and is just a wonderful soul. I'm really lucky to have found her.”

“Elle changed my life. She was a recommendation from someone else who said the same! After countless professionals trying to 'fix' me my whole life, I never expected even an ounce of change. It’s been almost magical, I honestly can’t thank her enough.”

“Extremely grateful to have found Elle. She has been with me through many big life changes, guiding and supporting me towards my Self all the way. A highly recommended open, caring and all around amazing person!”
